Saturdays are for baking, especially if you are going for dinner at a friend’s place. What better treat to bring for dessert homemade truffles?
So I whipped up a REAL EASY recipe for chocolate truffles, which I couldn’t have made without my new big badass blender from Froothie, the Optimum 9200A.
Here is the super quick and easy recipe for my Choc Truffles:
2 Cups of Pitted dates, soaked for 15-20 in warm water and then drained. This is the trick to make them smooth.
1 Cup of almonds
10 drops of Orange essential oil, I used DoTerra
1 heaped Tablespoon of Raw Cacao
1 Tablespoon of Tahini
Blitz all together in a blender! A high-speed blender will give you the best consistency, while a normal blender can leave quite a few chunks.
Pulse first and slowly tamper. Go slow in this process, it will take a while. Do this until you have a smooth sticky paste.
Mould into balls and roll in raw cacao powder! Gluten-free, Vegan= my kind of dessert.
So soft and yummy, you will definitely get compliments 😉
