Present in the moment is a powerful thing to live by.
It brings you back to “Where am I NOW”.
Am I stuck? in the past or too much projected in the future?
So being present in the moment allows you to be aware of these situations and help assessing what need to let go of.
But LIVE in the moment and be PRESENT in the moment to me are two different things.
When you live the moment you don’t really think twice about the future.
You don’t think about LONGEVITY.
That is the critical difference.
Yes, You want to be present in the moment, yes, but also think about longevity. Think about the positive choices you make to be able to thrive. To live longer. To not burn yourself. To not overexercise. To not overindulge.
This is how all cultures were able to survive, being present but also think about the future and plan their lives accordingly.

When we are young we think we are invicible, that becoming old is such a far thing. This is sometimes a trap that spiral people into bad lifestyle and eating behaviours.
So instead of call it mindfullness or being present in the moment I much rather call it “Being Wise”.
Let’s bring in the thought of LONGEVITY into our lives, in our choices AND think about the future, Being WISE.
At the end of the day, what you are today is the product of a lifetime of your choices.
