Ciao, Lovely meeting you.

Thank you for stopping by and dedicating this page a little bit of your precious time. I want to tell you who I am.

My name is Maddalena but everybody calls me Maddy.

I am Italian, born and bred, living in sunny Australia since 2012, which I am extremely proud of. My family raised me with complementary medicine since I remember and I have always been very open to different kinds of ways to get in-tuned with your own body.

What brought me to study nutrition was an amazing light-bulb moment the day I proved on my body that Food is Medicine, by healing myself.

I am also very passionate about Traditional medicine, like TCM and Ayurveda, and I incorporate their concepts in my consults in various different ways.

I am a Yoga lover, but I also love to kick butts at the gym doing functional training and weights. When I have some free time you will find me skating, rollerblading, cycling, working out, baking, doing yoga or sunbathing with my dog (if I am not too busy baking gluten-free banana bread).

During my Bachelor I decided to also add Australian Bush Flower Essences and Kinesiology to my practice, to benefit my clients and give them holistic support, looking at the emotional and structural side of healing.

I wish for my clients to live optimally, not just be well but to aim for optimal living and thriving in all parts of life.

What does “salusvera” mean?

SalusVera comes from Latin.

It means “Real or Integral Health”.

I wanted to bring in part of my European heritage to my business name, and have it so it can be international, as I wish to expand my business to Europe and more.

It sums up my beliefs when it comes to health: I see people in their totality and I wish to support them in their journey for real, optimal health in all realms of life, the emotional / mental / physical and spiritual.

My Approach

My approach is unique to its own. I look at you as a whole dynamic being.

I aim to look at the root cause with an evidence-based approach integrated with holistic modalities.

I like to think that I am an enabler, a catalyst for change in your life rather than someone you go “to get fixed”.

None of us is broken. Everyone has the capacity to improve their lives from day-to-night. I like to bring that out in you.
